Smart Bulk Water Access

Bulk Water Access through waist height outlets or overhead standpipes provide water to individuals, water carters or fire brigades.

Fully solar powered (with a mains powered option) the Smarter Standpipe controller provides swipe card and/or mobile device access to the unit.

An inbuilt water meter and motorised valve monitors and controls the water use.

Linked via the mobile phone network, data is accessible via a secure data server to councils for invoice purposes and to end users to check their available balance or outstanding account.

A fire brigade bypass mode (remotely enabled) provides fire fighters access without the need of a swipe card.

Remote Access To Control and/or Monitor:

Water usage

By measuring the water use per outlet the system will allow accurate allocation of costs as well as compare this data with the water utility meter

Tank levels

The tank levels can be monitored and interlocked with pump access. Low tank levels can provide SMS and email alarms

Tank access

Liquid fertiliser or wetting agent dosing into the irrigation system with soil moisture feedback to 40 cm deep

Maintenance

Central information about the activation or otherwise of all the standpipes provides councils with early warnings about faulty units

User access

Individual user access is provided via swipe card and/or secure mobile device access. Options are pre-pay or post-pay

Long water distribution lines can sometimes negatively affect the available flow rates. Pressure sensors can be installed to provide remote info
